Goostrey Neighbourhood Plan – Officially Made 17th August 2017

I attended the count of the referendum votes on Thursday evening. There was a 46% turn out of whom over 97% voted “Yes”. This is excellent news confirming massive public support for the Goostrey Neighbourhood Plan.

I’m sure the whole Parish Council will join with me in thanking everyone who has contributed to the Plan for their hard work and professionalism and for carrying the community with them through a long and complex process. The Parish has been very fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team willing to put in the time and effort needed to deliver a comprehensive plan for the development of Goostrey Parish up until 2030.
